I am a film forward photographer!

I have been shooting on 35mm film since I was in high school, almost 15 years ago. I recently started incorporating medium format as well.

Many clients ask why I prefer shooting film over digital, and the simple answer is "for the love of the art."

The long story- it's much deeper than that. Film photography is deliberate. It takes practice and dedication to figure out. It establishes a slowed down, methodical approach to art in a world where everything is instant! Your limited with your frame amounts, so you need to make each one count. This the shooter to be more in the moment, think outside of the box, and take creativity to the next level.

The results evoke feelings of nostalgia, authenticity, comfort, and a timelessness that is impossible to recreate.
